The MEO is composed of three levels:
- MEO 1: 8th grade and below
- MEO 2: 9th and 10th grade
- MEO 3: high school students in 11th grade and above
- MEO 4: undergraduate students and above
Participants are expected to choose the level that best suits their mathematical ability. If you are wondering which level to take, you can use the sample questions linked on this page to gauge which level is best for you. If you are debating between two levels, we always recommend that you take the more difficult of the two.
